چکیده
In managing the corn crop, European farmers frequently face presence of pest Diabrotica v. virgifera, which has a negative impact on production. Since 1992, various attempts have been made to limit its expansion and multiplication. recent years, with elimination most used chemical insecticides, had resort non-aggressive less polluting methods. Therefore, in this paper, an attempt was find solution available anyone reduce adult population level maize crops. Knowing that adults are responsible for long-distance movements, it deemed appropriate focus use both colored pheromone traps detection, monitoring capture. The testing carried out 2020 2021, between June September two culture systems, organic classic, belonging agricultural company from area interest Western Romania. Following these studies, found ecological culture, catches were 1.8 times higher than classic culture. Dual-attractant (color sex pheromone) effective crop types, capture efficiency 90.65% capacity, while without only 60.0%. Pheromone-only intermediate efficiency, capacity 72.68%. conclusion, double attractiveness, color pheromone, viable pest.

1 The western corn rootworm Diabrotica virgifera virgifera LeConte is a major insect pest of field maize, Zea mays L. Larvae can cause substantial injury by feeding on maize roots. Larval feeding may destroy individual roots or root nodes, and reduce plant growth, stability, and yield. Costs associated with managing corn rootworms in continuous maize are annually one of the largest expenditures...

1 The western corn rootworm (WCR) is a historic pest with a legacy of resistance and behavioural plasticity. Its behaviour and nutritional ecology are important to rootworm management. The success of the most effective and environmentally benign rootworm management method, annual crop rotation, was based on an understanding of rootworm behaviour and host – plant relationships. Enthusiastic adop...

The western corn rootworm (WCR), Diabrotica virgifera virgifera, is the most important pest of corn in the US Corn Belt. Economic estimates indicate that costs of control and yield loss associated with WCR damage exceed $US 1 billion annually. Historically, corn rootworm management has been extremely difficult because of its ability to evolve resistance to both chemical insecticides and cultura...
متن کاملDevelopment of a Germline Transformation System for the Western Corn Rootworm, diabrotica virgifera virgifera
The western corn rootworm (WCR) is a major pest of maize and is notorious for rapidly adapting biochemically, behaviorally and developmentally to a variety of control methods. Despite much effort, the genetic basis of WCR adaptation remains a mystery. Transformation-based applications such as transposon tagging and enhancer trapping have facilitated the genetic dissection of model species such ...
